Essay / application advice

Student-ops gives you tooling, not certified counseling. For high-stakes decisions:

  • Talk to your school counselor
  • If you can't afford a counselor, check:

Financial aid appeals / FAFSA issues

Student-ops can help you draft letters, but technical issues (FAFSA rejections, verification, etc.) should go to the school's financial aid office. They want to help you — call them.

Hard life stuff

If you're dealing with something harder than college apps — family, mental health, safety — please talk to someone:

  • US: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988)
  • Crisis Text Line: text HOME to 741741
  • Your school counselor is a trained resource and their conversations are usually confidential

Student-ops can wait.
