We're excited to share an early concept for an upcoming redesign, and we want to hear from you before we go further.

This is still in the concept stage — nothing is set in stone. Your feedback will directly shape the direction we take.

What We're Planning

This is a visual redesign, not a full rewrite of the core. Our priorities are:

• Performance — leaner assets, faster load times
• Code consistency — cleaner structure, predictable patterns
• Maintainability — easier to customize and extend for your projects

Most of the important dependencies you rely on will remain in place. The goal is to modernize the look and feel while keeping the foundation solid and familiar.

Hey @puikinsh,

Just took a quick look through the preview, and honestly, the direction looks really good. The cleaner layout, spacing, and overall consistency feel like a solid upgrade while still keeping the Gentelella identity familiar.

Also, the customization around themes, modes, border radius, etc. is honestly insane — that level of flexibility is a really nice touch.

One small thing I noticed was the responsiveness on the home page (index.html). Desktop and tablet layouts look great, and most other pages seem to handle responsiveness pretty well too, but on smaller mobile screens the home page feels a little messy in a few places. It probably just needs a bit more media-query tuning there, especially from a mobile/PWA perspective.

I’ve added a few screenshots below for reference.

Other than that, the direction looks very strong overall.

I’ll definitely go through it more deeply and share more detailed feedback after exploring the v4 branch properly.
