(I thought we'd dealt with this already, but it seems not, or else a mix-up crept back in somehow...)
I've just noticed that we have a couple of inconsistencies that we should fix:
- Under Cavalry, there is no bullet point that instructs the reader to apply an improvement to the Armour value.
And yet there are two examples that do show the improvement in Armour value as a result of applying the Cavalry ability to a base unit:
- The example under Cavalry.
- The example under Types of special ability > Data sheet modifier.
If I recall correctly, we went back and forth a bit, but ultimately decided to stick with splitting the Armour +1 effect off from Cavalry.
Hence there is a separate Armour +1 ability topic in the project, and a 'Related information' link that points from the Cavalry ability topic to Armour +1, and the data sheet entries I checked in the Builder (Rough Riders, and some others) have both Armour +1 and Cavalry keywords (exceptions being Discriders of Tzeentch and Fleshounds of Khorne units, which have Cavalry but not Armour +1, as they are the main reason for the split in the first place...).
So, if I have this right, the corrective action should be:
- Leave point (1) as-is, and fix the examples under points (2) and (3) so that they do not show the improvement in Armour value as a result of applying the Cavalry ability, but rather as a result of also applying the Armour +1 ability. (Or, instead of examples based on the Imperial Guard Rough Rider unit, we could switch to Discriders of Tzeentch or Fleshounds of Khorne unit, so we don't have to mention the Armour +1 ability to make the examples complete.)
@IJW-Wartrader if you can verify and either confirm that I have it right above, or correct me if appropriate, that'd be great. 😁
