Changing element from keyboard (by pressing O, C, N etc) does not work on CachyOS (ArchLInux based)

Tried using jChemPaint. Really fond of using keyboard to draw the structures. The hotkeys for drawing the structure itself work flawlessly but I can't change the element from keyboard by pressing N or O and etc.

It uses to the same mechanism/event listeners so I'm not sure what is going on. Could you give a bit more info, you are hovering over and atom and pressing 'n' (not capital 'N') right?

Yes exactly. I can also move my selection with arrows, so that works too. Tried both upper and lower case n N just to be sure. No changes. It looks like it can't catch letter from the keyboard. 0-9 keys and arrows are working.

Will be hard for me to find but if you download and run the project from an IDE you should be able to put some logging and see what logic is wrong.

Edit: Line 304 is the function if that doesn't link correctly.
