Here is the settings i use in rider (should be in the project files too) for publishing the gui

And here should be the equivalent command to publish the app:

Trimming causes the app to crash (not supported in avalonia)
Ready to run makes it bigger in file size and ram consumption though makes it faster to start.

The latest code in the repo is still not stable and in progress tho, 0.7.10 is the version that needs to be packaged for now. Thank you again

should we just switch to auto install script, as managing package for diff distro will be a pain
since the binary is self contained there no deps issues for us, and as for linwuw-sense, i suggest to use from main repo

I removed the online install script from the main readme file and restored the old method to installed as the script was having different issues on different distros.

ths is because you haven't build and released with the CI

you to have remove latest build and rebuild it using the github Action, then the script will work

or you can mention in the readme that version 7.10 and prior they have to download from the release and use the setup script provided by it

One request, I have made my own forked repo of linuwu sense, since the original dev is busy. I have implemented more features and stability with better support for DAMX. Can i use that version?

I finally managed to create a release using the workflow, the setup was a little tedious for me as i am new to this. I noticed that it doesnt pack the setup script and figured out that the online installer might work. currently for testing i have released a package as pre-release.
i used curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PXDiv/Div-Acer-Manager-Max/refs/heads/main/scripts/setup.sh | sudo bash it started a main menu but i got stuck at it due to infinite invalid inputs? when i didnt even made one

the only problem i was facing was that it got stuck during the installation even with no inputs, the command you provided works, just now have to create a new release when i get the time.

Can I request something,
I want the workflow to package and release with local-setup too that is working as well (like users install it right now), as if the online installer fails for some reason.
And this gives the user the ability to uninstall locally whenever they want instead of connecting to the internet, finding this page, running the script again just to uninstall DAMX.

i want the workflow to be like that in script/PackageEverything.py that i created to test and package everything internally.
It automatically takes the version numbers from Project version, daemon version, Drivers version, then packages everything to a set path of folders that the local setup knows and can install from, it packages local-setup renaming it to setup.sh while changing the setup.sh's script version to the project version it also generates a release text file where it writes all the versions included (this is optional).
Can you do something like this
p.s. i also renamed the setup to online-setup and added local-setup in the scripts folder.

one thing i will suggest, instead of making new script for online installer, make it download latest release extract it then run local setup with this we will have one less script to maintain

with this i can put Linuwu-Sense on aur and then DAMX
else it will be mess since the original is putting in work and you are also but on your own fork, why not do at one place so everyone can the best
