unable to define area

hi,
after disabling SIP, when i enter the screen for the definiti0n of the area, i click one of the dots but no way to move (shrink) the border.
what must i do?

Clicking the dot selects the side you want to modify, once you click it, use the arrow keys on the keyboard to adjust the border of the track pad.
