ci: tighten linter set + run gofmt + fix real bugs flagged
The first CI run with golangci-lint v2.5 surfaced 117 issues. Most were stylistic noise (60 revive "exported should have comment", 14 gofmt) that fight idiomatic Go in tests/examples; a handful were genuine bugs. This commit: 1. Scales back the linter set in .golangci.yml. Drop revive (style), unparam (cosmetic), gocritic (fights intentional patterns in tests). Keep the bug-catching core: errcheck, govet, staticcheck, ineffassign, unused, misspell, unconvert. errcheck is configured to ignore the standard idioms (deferred Close, RemoveAll cleanup). staticcheck is restricted to SA* (bugs); ST* (style) and QF* (quick-fix) suggestions are skipped for an alpha. 2. Runs `gofmt -w .` over the codebase. 14 files reformatted — gofmt's mechanical style fixes; no semantic change. 3. Fixes real bugs surfaced by staticcheck/ineffassign/unused: - `engine.go`: removes unused `errComposeSourceNotImplemented` (compose now actually works; the var was dead since PR12). - `runtime/docker/client.go`: replaces the deprecated `client.NewClientWithOpts` + `client.WithAPIVersionNegotiation` pair with `client.New` (negotiation is now the default; WithAPIVersionNegotiation is a no-op slated for removal). - `runtime/docker/exec.go`: drops redundant `io.Writer` type declaration on outDst/errDst (assigned from typed RHS). - `lifecycle_test.go`: replaces a malformed `for { break }` loop intended to walk the error chain with a clean `errors. As` (staticcheck SA4004: surrounding loop unconditionally terminated). Adds errors import. - `config/normalize_test.go`: removes ineffectual reassignment of `want` in TestDecodeForwardPorts. 4. Documents in .golangci.yml inline why each linter exclusion was chosen. Acceptance: 140 unit tests still pass locally; lint config now reflects what we actually want enforced. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
