Read-only compatibility data from a Volkswagen Golf 7 with the older 12.3" AID (...791 family), offered as input for a VWG13 / MU1367 profile.

Vehicle: VW Golf 7 (MQB), 2016, MHI2 (retrofitted Discover Pro / MIB2 High)
Firmware: MHI2_ER_VWG13_K4525 / MU1367 (HMI H29.319.75, project_mmx2_vw_er_g13.cfg)
Cluster: Active Info Display gen 1, part 5G1920791B, HW 403, SW 4191 (5G1920791 is listed in the older ...791 / 1440x540-class family in the cluster-family table)
SSH access: WLAN

Nothing was installed and no target filesystem was modified. No gate, DIRECT or GEN2 test has been run, and CarPlay was not exercised. I can run further bounded, stock-safe tests on this unit if that helps.

displaymanager.json matches the "Skoda MU1440 / VWG13" group in the profile map (queue 18, 40,960 B/frame, RVC 1067x571 at (107,0), topview 1280x640).

Java state: the HMI process runs with -Xbootclasspath/p:/eso/hmi/lsd/jars/NavActiveIgnore.jar (sha256 115ed761...5984), which I installed long ago via More Incredible Bash. The jars directory also holds GEM.jar and nullservice.jar.

MOST / DisplayManager

devp-iso-mmx-mib2 -T -S188 -i3 -B3 -P64 -Q18 -m/dev/mlb -MisoTX2 -v5 -p16 is running; startup.sh labels it "DCIVIDEO: Kombi Map". /dev/mlb/isoTX2 is present. displaymanager.json: most_encoder.device is /dev/mlb/isoTX2, nv_encoder_data_rate 9600000, force_kombi_type "none".

dmdt gc (output truncated, see below) lists DISPLAYABLE_KOMBI_MAP_VIEW (33) in the persistent map context -3.

Stock map-plane size on this ...791 cluster: not measured yet.

Collector findings on this target

1. displaymanager path. The process runs as /eso/bin/apps/displaymanager; /mnt/app/eso/bin/apps/displaymanager does not exist, so the collector reports it as missing (same as discussion SEAT Ateca, MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709 / MU1447: read-only compatibility report and stock map-plane geometry #16). The binary's own hash is therefore not in the table above.
2. dmdt output redirected to a file is unreliable here (same as SEAT Ateca, MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709 / MU1447: read-only compatibility report and stock map-plane geometry #16). My own wrapper script ran dmdt gd, gc and gs with > file 2>&1: gd and gs produced empty files (rc=0) and gc stopped mid-output (header says 32 contexts, 26 listed, last line cut at "13"). That matches the behaviour reported in SEAT Ateca, MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709 / MU1447: read-only compatibility report and stock map-plane geometry #16, so I am not treating those files as evidence.
