Title: Request for free AltScreen support — Audi A3 8V MHI2 P5153 / MU1326

Hi! I own an Audi A3 8V with the following infotainment system:

• Firmware: MHI2_ER_AU37X_P5153
• MU version: 1326
• MMI: MHI2
• Smartphone: iPhone with Apple CarPlay and Google Maps
• Goal: display the full CarPlay navigation map in the factory Virtual Cockpit.

I found your MHI2 AltScreen research project and saw that the AU37X P5089 / MU1326 firmware profile has been analyzed, but P5153 is still missing.

I would like to help test or validate support for my firmware. Is there a way to adapt the current open-source implementation to P5153, and what firmware information or diagnostic files would you need from me?

I already have a backup of my MMI. I am looking for a free, open-source solution and would prefer not to install anything until compatibility and recovery procedures are understood.

There is already a working free solution for Audi A3 8V developed by chefranov. I have been using it myself and it is working perfectly fine. You can check it out here: https://github.com/chefranov/mhi2-au37x-carplay
