Edge mode for progress / lerp

I'd like to suggest functionality for the edge color feature that allows the extent of the colorful edge to be interpolated. This would be useful for a progress bar related to a button, such as a cooldown.

At a minimum, it would allow the edge to be interpolated either in plain mode or a new mode. Additional options could include the start point and whether the progress moves clockwise vs counterclockwise.

That’s an interesting idea. It’s definitely worth looking into. :)

Now, let me explain how to make the edge color look like a cooldown effect.
At first, I thought I could achieve this by layering two Image+UIEffect elements, but the edges ended up looking strange.

In practice, I had to add a mask and adjust Fill Amount of the masking image.
