While the individual licenses of all the presets aren't super clear - most authors probably don't really care about this - I'd personally say it's basically perfectly safe to use rendered video of the visuals, even without credit. Crediting presets would actually be helpful for viewers to identify presets they like and use them on their machines. You can already find many videos using Milkdrop/projectM visuals on YT and elsewhere, so yeah, just go ahead. There's also no need to credit projectM in any way, but it's surely nice to do so. The music you choose for the video is a different story though. |

I am wondering if it allowed, from the License side, that the video generated from projectM could be used as Video Stream on youtube.com ?
Are there any legal restrictions to use the generated video stream on commercial Video Platforms, like Youtube ?
