Question: confirming Smartnode v1.20.3 as the stable target for the Dappnode package (Saturn 1 / 4-ETH)Β #1109

Description

@saju01

Hi RP team πŸ‘‹ β€” this is a packaging/correctness question rather than a bug, hoping a maintainer can sanity-check it.

The Dappnode community package for Rocket Pool (dappnode/DAppNodePackage-rocketpool) has been stuck on Smartnode v1.19.3. There's an open PR to bump it to the latest stable v1.20.3 so Dappnode node operators can access the Saturn 1 megapool / 4-ETH validator tooling:

πŸ‘‰ dappnode/DAppNodePackage-rocketpool#24

The package builds by pulling your released rocketpool-cli-linux-amd64 + rocketpool-daemon-linux-amd64 assets for the pinned tag, so the bump itself is straightforward. Before it's merged, two quick checks would be hugely helpful:

  1. Is v1.20.3 the correct latest stable tag for production mainnet node operators? (I deliberately avoided the -dev prereleases and the v2.0.0-bX betas.)
  2. Any Saturn-1-specific packaging considerations we should be aware of when wrapping Smartnode this way (megapool config, new ports/volumes, migration gotchas) β€” or is a clean version bump sufficient?

Not asking the RP team to own the Dappnode package (that's Dappnode's repo to merge) β€” just hoping for a quick correctness nod or a heads-up on anything we're missing. Thanks for all the Saturn 1 work! πŸ™
