I'm Dennis Ploetner (@lloc), a software engineer based in Italy and one of the maintainers of the WordPress Multisite (Networks & Sites) core component.

I've been building for the web professionally since 1997 and working with WordPress at the deep end ever since: enterprise multisite architectures, plugins, and the core APIs that hold them together. I maintain the Multisite Language Switcher, listed on wordpress.org for over 15 years, and I contribute directly to WordPress core.

My focus now is making WordPress Multisite what it should be: simpler to run, robust at scale, and a solid foundation for a sovereign, Made-in-EU web stack, with data residency, GDPR, and NIS2 built in rather than bolted on. Multisite has a reputation for being hard. I want to change that upstream, in the open, for everyone.

Your sponsorship funds that work directly: core development, the tooling and documentation around it, and the time to keep it moving. Whether you're an individual who relies on my plugins or a company betting on a European WordPress stack, thank you for making the commons stronger.

Funded time every month for WordPress Multisite core work, contributed upstream under the GPL. Five for the Future in practice, so core work becomes the job it deserves instead of an evening hobby.
