what kind of showcase video are we taking about the full project setup or the working of the system on laptop and the phone trackpad. if you could pls clarify i can get the video in form of a link in a couple of hrs.

GSoC 2026 — Showcase Video Plan

Hi! I'm applying for GSoC 2026 on the Rein project. Here's my concrete plan for a showcase video as part of that work.

Proposed video structure (~3–5 minutes)

Segment	Duration	Content
Intro	0:00–0:20	What Rein is — one sentence, no fluff
Install	0:20–0:50	Download AppImage / .exe, first launch
Connect	0:50–1:30	Host + guest on same LAN; enter token; connect
Screen mirror	1:30–2:10	Low-latency WebRTC stream demo (side-by-side)
Input control	2:10–2:50	Keyboard, mouse, and gamepad overlay in action
Platform matrix	2:50–3:20	Same flow repeated on Windows → Linux and macOS → Linux
Closing	3:20–3:40	Project links, contribution invite

Recording setup

• OBS Studio for screen capture with PiP (host + guest side-by-side)
• Two machines (or VirtualBox host-only network as documented in PR docs: comprehensive VM testing guide (VirtualBox & VMware, all platforms) #295)
• Voiceover + captions for accessibility

Tooling / hosting

• Upload to YouTube (unlisted → public after mentor review)
• Embed link in README.md hero section
• Mirror on AOSSIE GitLab wiki

GSoC deliverable

The video will be recorded and published during the community bonding / first week of coding period, once the new features (WebRTC screen mirror #208, gamepad overlay #223) are merged and running stably.
