๐Ÿฆ‡ Overview

GothamAuto is a precision autoclicker born in the shadows of Gotham โ€” a tool for people who refuse to wear out their mouse hand. Whether you need to idle an incremental game, stress-test a UI, or submit the same form a hundred times, GothamAuto turns the problem into a hotkey press.

It's built to be:

  • ๐Ÿชถ Lightweight โ€” ~10 MB on disk, under 0.5% CPU idle, no background services.
  • โšก Fast โ€” millisecond-precise intervals, up to thousands of clicks per second.
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Accurate โ€” native Win32 input, not keyboard macros, so clicks land where you expect them.
  • ๐ŸŽจ Beautiful โ€” a dark, minimal interface with the signature Gotham yellow accent.
  • ๐ŸชŸ Compatible โ€” runs on Windows 7, 8, and 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit.
  • ๐Ÿ†“ Free โ€” released under the MIT License, no ads, no trials, no telemetry.

"It's not who you are underneath, it's what you click that defines you."

โœจ Features at a Glance

๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Clicking Core

  • Any mouse button โ€” left, right, or middle click, in any combination.
  • Any click type โ€” single click, double click, or triple click.
  • Any interval โ€” from 1 ms up to full hours, with sub-second precision.
  • Any count โ€” click N times, or run until stopped.
  • Any position โ€” click wherever the cursor is, or lock to a fixed X/Y point.

โšก Control & Convenience

  • Global hotkeys โ€” start, stop, or toggle from anywhere, even full-screen apps.
  • Instant toggle โ€” one key starts, the same key stops.
  • Live counter โ€” see exactly how many clicks have fired.
  • Status pill โ€” Ready / Running / Paused at a glance.
  • Window ignore โ€” the clicker window never clicks itself.

๐Ÿช„ Quality of Life

  • Portable mode โ€” unzip and run, no installer required.
  • Zero dependencies at runtime beyond .NET 4.5+.
  • Clean uninstall โ€” delete the folder, you're done.
  • No admin needed for normal operation.
  • Config is a flat JSON file โ€” easy to back up or share.

๐ŸŒ™ Design

  • Dark-first interface โ€” easy on the eyes during long sessions.
  • Signature yellow accent โ€” the Bat-signal, in your taskbar.
  • High-DPI aware โ€” crisp on 4K, scaled on 1080p.
  • Keyboard-navigable โ€” every control reachable without the mouse (ironic, we know).

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Interface Preview

GothamAuto Interface

A dark, minimal control panel with the signature yellow accent. Every setting is one click away: click interval, button mapping, repeat mode, cursor position, and global hotkey โ€” no menus to hunt through, no clutter to parse.

๐Ÿš€ Getting Started

The fastest path from zero to automation:

  1. โฌ‡ Download โ†’ 2. ๐Ÿ“‚ Extract โ†’ 3. โ–ถ Run โ†’ 4. โš™ Configure โ†’ 5. ๐ŸŽฏ Press F6
  1. Download the latest release from the GothamAuto landing page.
  2. Extract the archive to any folder (e.g. C:\Tools\GothamAuto).
  3. Run GothamAuto.exe.
  4. Configure your click interval, mouse button, and start/stop hotkey.
  5. Press your start hotkey (default F6) and let GothamAuto do the clicking.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: pin GothamAuto.exe to the taskbar for one-click launches.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Installation

GothamAuto is distributed as a single portable ZIP. Pick the method that fits you best:

Method 1 โ€” Portable (recommended)

  1. Download the latest release from the landing page.
  2. Extract the archive anywhere (Desktop, Documents, a USB stick โ€” your call).
  3. Run GothamAuto.exe. That's it.

No installer. No registry writes. No admin prompt.

Method 2 โ€” Winget (planned)

winget install GothamAuto

๐Ÿ“ Winget distribution is on the roadmap.

Method 3 โ€” Build from source

git clone https://github.com/BoatswainPortray/GothamAuto.git
cd GothamAuto
dotnet build -c Release

Uninstalling

Delete the folder. Done. GothamAuto does not touch the registry and does not install services.

๐ŸŽฎ How to Use

A full session, start to finish:

  1. Launch GothamAuto.exe โ€” the main window opens in the center of your screen.
  2. Set the interval โ€” four fields: Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Milliseconds.
    • For a 10-clicks-per-second rate, enter 100 in the Millis field.
  3. Choose the mouse button โ€” Left / Right / Middle.
  4. Choose the click type โ€” Single or Double.
  5. Set the repeat mode:
    • Repeat N times โ€” stops after an exact count.
    • Until stopped โ€” runs until you hit the hotkey.
  6. Choose a cursor mode:
    • Current position โ€” clicks wherever the cursor is.
    • Fixed point โ€” click Pick โ—Ž, then click the point on screen you want to target.
  7. Assign a hotkey โ€” the default is F6 for start/stop toggle. Any key works.
  8. Press Start (or the hotkey) to begin. Press the same key again to stop.
  9. Watch the counter at the bottom-right of the window to see your clicks accumulate.

Minimal example

Click left mouse button 250 times, 10 clicks per second, at the current cursor position.

Hours: 00 Mouse: Left Repeat: 250 times
Minutes: 00 Click: Single Cursor: Current
Seconds: 00 Hotkey: F6
Millis: 100

Press F6 โ€” GothamAuto clicks 250 times, 10 clicks per second, then stops.

โŒจ๏ธ Hotkeys

All hotkeys are rebindable from the Hotkey panel.

Action Default Description
Start / Stop toggle F6 Starts clicking if idle, stops if running.
Pick fixed point F7 Captures the next cursor position as the click point.
Open / Hide window F8 Shows or hides the GothamAuto window.
Reset click counter F9 Zeroes the Clicks counter.
Panic stop Esc Immediately stops the clicker, no matter what.
Quit Alt+F4 Closes the app and persists your settings.

๐Ÿ”’ Hotkeys are global โ€” they work even if GothamAuto is minimized or you're in a full-screen game.

โš™๏ธ Options Overview

Setting Values Description
Click Interval 1 ms โ€“ 99h 59m 59s 999ms Time between each click.
Mouse Button Left / Right / Middle Which button to send.
Click Type Single / Double Single press, or two in rapid succession.
Repeat Mode N times / Until stopped Stop after a fixed count or run indefinitely.
Repeat Count 1 โ€“ 999,999 Only used when Repeat Mode is N times.
Cursor Position Current / Fixed point Click at the mouse location, or at a locked X/Y.
Fixed X / Y 0..screen width/height Screen coordinates for the fixed-point mode.
Start/Stop Hotkey any key Global hotkey to toggle clicking.

๐Ÿงช Click Modes Explained

1. Current Position (default)

Clicks are injected at wherever your mouse pointer happens to be. Move the mouse, clicks follow.

Mouse at (420, 300) โ†’ click (420, 300)
Mouse at (900, 500) โ†’ click (900, 500)

Best for: games where the target moves, afk farming where you want to interrupt by moving the mouse.

2. Fixed Point

Lock a specific X/Y coordinate once, and every click lands there regardless of where the pointer is.

Target locked at (640, 360)
Mouse anywhere โ†’ click (640, 360)

Best for: repetitive clicks on a UI button, pagination controls, incremental "collect" buttons.

3. Single vs Double Click

  • Single โ€” one MOUSEDOWN + MOUSEUP per interval.
  • Double โ€” two rapid press/release pairs, matching the system double-click speed.

4. Repeat N vs Until Stopped

  • Repeat N times โ€” the counter is both the display and the stop condition. Great for scripted sequences.
  • Until stopped โ€” runs forever (or until the hotkey, panic key, or power button).

๐Ÿงญ Interval Presets

Common presets you can plug straight into the four interval fields:

Preset H M S ms Rate
Max safe (OS-friendly) 0 0 0 1 ~1000 cps
Fast gaming 0 0 0 10 100 cps
Normal gaming 0 0 0 50 20 cps
Idle farming 0 0 0 100 10 cps
Human-like 0 0 0 250 4 cps
Slow / testing 0 0 1 0 1 cps
Timer-style 0 1 0 0 1 click / min

โš ๏ธ Very low intervals (<5 ms) may be rate-limited by the OS or the target application.

๐Ÿงฐ Use Cases

๐ŸŽฎ Gaming

  • Idle and incremental games (clickers, cookie-style).
  • AFK farming in MMOs that respect manual input.
  • Testing in-game click-based macros.

๐Ÿงช QA & Testing

  • Stress-test buttons and tap-interactions.
  • Reproduce "click 50 times fast" bug reports.
  • UI endurance checks for Electron / Win32 apps.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ Productivity

  • Bulk-submit forms that lack an "apply to all" option.
  • Paginate through a long list in an admin panel.
  • Scroll-free "next" clicking through slideshows or wizards.

๐Ÿงฐ Automation

  • Dumb-but-effective fallback when a proper API doesn't exist.
  • Scheduled tasks via Task Scheduler + GothamAuto's hotkey.

๐Ÿ“Š Comparison

A rough feel for where GothamAuto sits in the ecosystem:

Capability GothamAuto Typical freeware clickers Enterprise macro tools
Free โœ… โœ… โŒ
Open-source (MIT) โœ… ๐ŸŸก (often not) โŒ
Portable (no installer) โœ… ๐ŸŸก โŒ
Fixed-point clicks โœ… โœ… โœ…
ms-precise intervals โœ… ๐ŸŸก โœ…
Global hotkeys โœ… โœ… โœ…
Dark-first UI โœ… โŒ ๐ŸŸก
Lightweight (<15 MB) โœ… โœ… โŒ
No telemetry โœ… ๐ŸŸก โŒ

๐ŸŽ Performance

Measured on a reference box: Intel i5-10400, 16 GB DDR4, Windows 10 22H2, idle desktop.

Metric Value
Install size ~10 MB
Memory (idle) ~22 MB
Memory (running at 100 cps) ~26 MB
CPU usage (idle) < 0.5 %
CPU usage (running at 100 cps) < 2 %
Click injection latency ~0.3 ms
Max observed cps ~2 000

Click latency is dominated by the OS input queue, not by GothamAuto itself.

๐Ÿงฏ Troubleshooting

GothamAuto starts, but no clicks are registered in my game

Some games use raw input and block synthetic clicks for anti-cheat reasons. Try:

  • Running GothamAuto as administrator (right-click โ†’ Run as administrator).
  • Switching the game to windowed or borderless mode.
  • Picking a different click type (Single vs Double).
The hotkey doesn't work
  • Make sure no other app has claimed the same key (Discord push-to-talk, Steam overlay, GeForce Experience).
  • Try a different key โ€” F6โ€“F9 are usually safe.
  • Re-focus the GothamAuto window once, then try again.
Clicks land at the wrong coordinates on a 4K display

GothamAuto is DPI-aware, but some apps aren't. Right-click GothamAuto.exe โ†’ Properties โ†’ Compatibility โ†’ Change high DPI settings โ†’ Override high DPI scaling behavior โ†’ System (Enhanced).

Windows SmartScreen flags the download

This is normal for a new, unsigned portable executable with low download volume. You can:

  • Click More info โ†’ Run anyway if you trust the source.
  • Verify the file hash against the release notes.
  • Build from source yourself.
The counter looks wrong / stops at a weird number

Check Repeat Mode. If it's set to N times, the counter stops at N by design. Switch to Until stopped for unlimited.

โ“ FAQ

Is GothamAuto free?

Yes. GothamAuto is fully free, released under the MIT License. No ads, no trials, no telemetry, no "pro" tier.

Does it work on Windows 11?

GothamAuto is officially designed and tested for Windows 7, 8, and 10, and runs on 64-bit systems. Most features also run cleanly on Windows 11; your mileage may vary with Smart App Control enabled.

Will it slow down my PC?

No. GothamAuto is lightweight โ€” ~22 MB RAM at idle, under 0.5% CPU, no background services. The click engine is driven by native Win32 APIs, not a polling loop.

Can I set a custom hotkey?

Yes โ€” any key on your keyboard can be bound as the global start/stop toggle, and you can rebind the auxiliary hotkeys from the same panel.

Does it click at a fixed point or where my cursor is?

Both. Pick Current position to click wherever your mouse happens to be, or Fixed point to lock a specific X/Y coordinate.

Can I limit how many clicks it does?

Yes. Choose Repeat N times and set the exact count, or Until stopped to let it run until you hit the hotkey.

Does GothamAuto record keystrokes?

No. It only listens for the hotkey you bind. No keylogging, no capture, no telemetry.

Is it detectable as a macro?

It injects standard Win32 mouse events. Any app that specifically filters synthetic input will see it as synthetic โ€” that's by design, not something a userspace tool can bypass. Do not use GothamAuto in competitive multiplayer games that forbid automation.

Can I run multiple profiles?

Not yet โ€” profile import/export is on the roadmap. For now, the config lives in a single JSON file you can swap out manually.

Why "Gotham"?

Because the night is dark and full of clicks.
