A collection of tools that turn a Digidesign Control|24, a control surface from the early 2000s, into a modern, useful controller, by using its native raw-Ethernet protocol that was reverse-engineered with Wireshark. No other programs is required to use the app.
Everything here talks to the desk over raw Ethernet packets, so it needs
low-level network access (root / sudo, or BPF access). It was developed and tested on macOS.
Each folder has a script that i made for this console, if you want the most stable script with practically all the functions, use the Control24-Engine app, compiled version downloadable in Releases

- macOS (Everything here was developed on macOS 12 (Monterey) using a Macbook Pro with an Ethernet adapter).
- A Control|24 connected to the Mac directly by Ethernet (should also work if connected via a LAN Switch but i did not try that yet).
- Python 3 (3.11–3.13 recommended; 3.12 is the safest for building the app).

- Root access for the raw socket: run with
sudo, or grant BPF access once (e.g. install Wireshark's ChmodBPF), after which nosudois needed.

- I want a polished app with a GUI, Pro Tools support, and everything → Control24-Engine.

- I want media keys / a mixer / a calculator on the desk (no Pro Tools) → HUI-OS.
