Can't open objmc.py

When I open the file it shows these 2 messages and closing:

Is this a problem on my end or something with the file?

The script is a little out-dated and doesn't work with the latest python and package dependency versions. Here is the updated script that is working with the latest versions: objmc_updated.py.

Essentially, the following things need to be adapted:

REMOVE:
from typing import Optional (new python versions have built in optionals)

BEFORE:

parser.add_argument(
    "--compression",
    type=Optional[bool],
    help="Compression mode: true/false",
    default=autorotate,
)

AFTER:

parser.add_argument(
    "--compression",
    type=bool,
    nargs="?",
    help="Compression mode: true/false",
    default=autorotate,
)

CHANGE: (at two places)
self.var.trace("w", self.check) -> self.var.trace_add("write", self.check)
