Main code requires valid version of pontibus

Describe the bug
If pontibus isn't compatible with a version of OpenFE then the basic API errors

To Reproduce
Install OpenFE 1.12 and Pontibus 0.4.0 and import openfe-benchmarks

Expected behavior
Pontibus compatibility should not obstruct use of the repository so make it optional
