I'm writing this issue to report that mod_oauth2 only logs debug info if the top-level Apache HTTPD directive is set to debug. I'm using the version installed on official Apache HTTPD 2.4-trixie docker image via apt-get install libapache2-mod-oauth2. I'll be glad to provide more information to pin down the exact version.
I noticed this while struggling to puzzle out a working configuration for this module. I added this line to Apache httpd-ssl.conf:
Apache HTTPD accepts this on startup. However, on receipt of a request to the location configured with AuthType oauth2, I see absolutely no debug output.
The only thing that worked for enabling oauth2 debug-level logging was this top-level configuration that enables debug output for everything in the Apache HTTPD server. This is effective in the short term, but definitely overwhelming, just a bit too much output.
