The standalone OpenCut editor now offers the four OpenScene appearance presets in both light and dark mode, persisted locally. It also supports double-clicking a ready media item to place that exact asset on the timeline, and selecting a clip reveals it in the preview only when the playhead was outside it.
The shared MediaLibrary and workbench preset control also support the OpenScene host integration tracked by Theorvane/openscene#472.
Verification: TypeScript, 14 editor tests, web build, eight theme/preset combinations in an Electron browser, and a real image import → double-click placement → selected timeline clip → preview flow.
