We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer

ZenithGuild is a remote team building software for clients worldwide. We're hiring a senior developer to lead client interviews across all our team's projects — the person who sits with a client, works out what they actually need, and translates it into something our engineers can build.

What you'd do

  • Run discovery and requirements interviews with clients on behalf of the whole team
  • Turn those conversations into clear technical specs, scope, and acceptance criteria
  • Act as the technical point of contact for client questions during delivery
  • Diagnose reported issues, reproduce them, and hand engineers a well-scoped ticket
  • Write up decisions, integration notes, and internal guides so the work is repeatable

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years building and shipping software, with real ownership of technical decisions
  • Solid grounding in cloud infrastructure, APIs, and system integration
  • Proven experience in client-facing or consulting work — you're comfortable leading a call, pushing back on a bad idea
  • Ability to move between a client conversation and a codebase in the same afternoon
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Self-directed and organised across multiple client engagements at once

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, or agent frameworks (we'll fill gaps, but you should know the landscape)
  • Background in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical account management

Terms

Flexible hours, fully remote, working directly with the people building the product.

Compensation $60/hr
Contract Part-time or full-time
Timezone CET / EST
