Quiz Builder

Quiz Builder is a full-stack web application for creating and viewing custom quizzes.

The project includes:

• Backend: Express.js, TypeScript, Prisma, SQLite
• Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript
• Database: SQLite via Prisma

Backend setup

Install dependencies:

npm install

Create .env file from example:

cp .env.example .env

Run database migration:

npx prisma migrate dev

Start backend:

npm run dev

Backend will run on: http://localhost:4000

Frontend setup

Install dependencies:

npm install

Create .env.local file from example:

cp .env.example .env.local

Start frontend:

npm run dev

Frontend will run on: http://localhost:3000

Notes

The project uses SQLite, so no external database server is required. The database is created locally using Prisma migrations.
