Turn any job posting into a personalized interview-prep playbook — likely questions, model answers, scoring rubrics, and AI coaching — then practice your answers, rate yourself, and track your readiness over time.
It's free, runs entirely in your web browser, and uses whatever AI assistant you already have access to. Nothing you enter is uploaded anywhere.

- A job posting, or the details of a role you're preparing for.
- Access to any AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, or a school-provided tool.
- A web browser. Chrome, Edge, or Safari are recommended; Firefox works but cannot use voice dictation.
The tool is organized into three tabs. You move left to right.
| Tab | What you do there |
|---|---|
| 1 · Describe the job | Enter the role and posting. The tool builds a ready-to-run prompt for your AI. |
| 2 · Rehearse & Refine | Paste the AI's playbook, then practice answers, rate yourself, and get AI coaching. |
| 3 · Saved jobs | Keep jobs, track readiness, search, back up, move between devices, and share with an advisor. |
- Enter the basics: company, role title, and level. Add the interview round if you know it.
- Add the posting: paste the job summary, responsibilities, and skills. You can paste the whole posting instead, if that's easier.
- Aim for strong input. Open What makes a strong input? for tips. The rule of thumb: the more specific and real your detail — exact responsibilities, tools, and company context like mission, values, and recent news — the sharper and more realistic your questions.
- Click Build my prompt. A ready-to-run prompt appears.
- Click Copy prompt.
Tip
To start over, use Clear form in the top-right — it asks for a second click to confirm, so you can't wipe the form by accident.
- Open any AI assistant and paste the prompt. Let it reply.
- It should return a block of JSON. If it returns a paragraph of explanation instead, reply:
Output the JSON only — no commentary. - If the reply gets cut off, reply
continueand paste the full result together. - Copy the AI's reply — the JSON it produced.
- Paste the AI's reply into the box and click Load playbook. Paste the reply, not the prompt — if you mix them up, the tool tells you in plain language.
- Review your dashboard. You'll see your readiness tracker and your questions, grouped by interview stage (recruiter screen, hiring manager, panel, final).
- Work each question. Read why it's likely to come up, then open Practice & Coaching:
- Answer it. Type, or tap the microphone to speak your answer aloud (Chrome, Edge, Safari).
- Rate yourself against the rubric on the five-point scale.
- Get AI feedback. Click Copy coaching prompt, paste it into your AI along with your answer, then paste the AI's assessment back. Your score and coaching notes update automatically.
- Click Save job to keep your work. Until you save, your progress is held only as a temporary recovery draft.
| Rating | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not yet | Haven't really attempted it, or no idea where to start. |
| Weak | Attempted, but missed the point of the question or the rubric. |
| Fair | On the right track, but incomplete or unstructured. |
| Solid | A good, structured answer that meets the rubric. |
| Strong | A standout answer that clearly lands the crux of the question. |
Your readiness score updates as you rate yourself. When you save and return to practice on different days, the tool records one point per day and draws a Readiness over time trend line on the dashboard, with a "+N points since…" figure.
Tip
Practicing across a week or two is the best way to see — and build — real improvement.
- Open or delete any saved job. Delete asks for a confirming second click.
- See progress at a glance: each job shows its readiness percentage and the date you last practiced.
- Search by company or role when your list grows.
- Duplicate for another company (toolbar): reuse the same role description for a different employer without retyping — just change the company and rebuild.
- Print / save as PDF (toolbar): produces a clean, printer-friendly handout of your playbook.
- Download backup / Import backup: move your work between your laptop and phone, or keep a safe copy.
- Share with advisor: send a single job to a coach.
- Feed it real text, not summaries. Paste actual responsibilities and requirements.
- Add company context. Mission, values, and recent news are what produce tailored "why us / why now" questions.
- Practice out loud. The microphone and coaching loop mirror a real interview far better than reading silently.
- Be honest when you rate yourself. The readiness trend is only useful if it's truthful.
- Come back across several days. Repetition builds both the trend line and your real recall.
- Paste in any real questions you find. They get marked Anchored and sharpen the whole set.
- Treat model answers as scaffolds, not scripts. Adapt them in your own words; memorized answers sound memorized.
Important
- "Likely" vs "Anchored." "Likely" questions are inferred from the role and level — prepare for them, but don't expect them word-for-word. "Anchored" questions came from a real example you supplied or the posting itself.
- Readiness is self-rated. It reflects your preparation, not an objective evaluation by the tool.
- Your data lives only in this browser. Use Download backup to avoid losing it if you clear your browser or switch devices.
| If you see… | Do this |
|---|---|
| "That's the prompt itself, not the playbook." | You pasted the prompt into Tab 2. Paste the AI's reply (the JSON) instead. |
| "The JSON is malformed." | Ask your AI for "JSON only, no commentary," or re-run the prompt for a clean copy. |
| "The JSON looks cut off." | Reply continue to your AI, then paste the complete result. |
| The mic button says "No mic." | Use Chrome, Edge, or Safari for dictation — or simply type your answer. |
| A backup didn't download. | Copy the backup text shown on screen and save it yourself as a .json file. |
| You lost unsaved work. | If you didn't click Save job, look for the "unsaved work — resume" banner the next time you open the tool. |
Everything runs in your browser. Your inputs, answers, and ratings are never uploaded to a server. Saved jobs and backups stay on your device unless you choose to share or move them.
