Concurrent CLI processes spawned by parallel scans corrupt ~/.cycode/credentials.yaml, which leaves the user in an auth loop. That is fixed in cycode-cli 3.21.0, but the plugin pinned 3.12.2, so no user could receive the fix. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Parallel scans spawn one
cycodeCLI process per scan type, and every process does a non-atomic read-modify-write on~/.cycode/credentials.yaml. Concurrent writes corrupt the file,cycode statusthen crashes, the plugin reports "not authenticated", and the browser login that follows succeeds server-side but is lost at write-back — an auth loop the user cannot escape. See CM-71772.Fixed in cycode-cli v3.21.0 (0% corruption / 0 reader crashes vs 96.7% on 3.18.0), published 2026-08-25 with all per-OS assets.
