Hi, I'm David 👋

Mathematics and Computer Science graduate with a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, focused on applied Machine Learning, Data Science, and Computer Vision.

Current focus

  • Developing a computer vision pipeline for sea turtle face detection and localization based on a Zindi challenge.
  • Working on dataset validation, leakage-aware splitting, bounding-box analysis, and robust model evaluation.
  • Previously developed a LightGBM-based recommender system for air traffic sector configuration planning at CRIDA/ENAIRE.
