Description
In the past I made the following suggestion post about adding a setting that would allow ability to open up Soundfonts to a specific section of Polyphone.
#217
This has since been added in "Settings" tab, called "Startup View" and is very helpful (thank you again for adding this).
I also made the following suggestion post about providing a File Browser tab
#253
Which has also been added :)
Providing "Directory" tabs
I noticed that when in a "Directory" tab user can...
-Double click
-Hit ENTER key
to open a soundfont in a new tab within Polyphone
Currently, this open action opens that soundfont into its "General" pane.
SUGGESTION
Suggesting to allow soundfonts that when opened from a Polyphone "Directory" tab, to also open to a specific section of Polyphone (similar to the suggestion I made mentioned above 217)
Suppose this could be done one of two ways....
-Make the "Directory" tab open action, use the same "Settings" tab, "Startup View" setting.
-Or because user may have a different preference for how soundfonts open from a...
3rd party file manager
VS
Polyphone "Directory" tab
Could offer a separate setting for how "Directory" tabs will behave when opening a soundfont.
So the two settings would be...
3rd party file manager = "Startup view" setting
and
Polyphone "Directory" tab = "Directory tab open action view" setting.
Thank you to anyone who reads this
