Issue playing Netflix content on Kodi 20/21 – "Widevine CDM is built into Android" message.

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble getting Netflix to work on Kodi 21 and I've been struggling with it for several hours. I've reached a point where the InputStream Helper displays a specific message, so I'm reaching out to the community for help. Maybe someone here can figure this out.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to this, so please forgive me if I'm not describing everything perfectly, but I'm doing my best to learn and get it right.

System Details:

Kodi version: 21.3 (Omega)

Architecture: Android arm64

InputStream Helper version: 0.8.5

InputStream Adaptive version: 21.5.22

Message shown: Widevine CDM is built into Android

Whenever I try to play any video content through the Netflix add-on, it fails to launch/throws an error right after this info screen pops up.

Could this be related to missing DRM hardware keys (L1 vs L3) or an ESN configuration issue? Any guidance on how to bypass or resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I ran DRM Info and it confirms the device actually has Widevine Security Level L1, but HDCP Level shows as 'Disconnected'. I've attached the screenshot. Could this ESN / HDCP status be causing the playback rejection on the server side?
