I'm Gui — a Full Stack TypeScript Engineer from Lisbon, Portugal 🌞, currently working at PhantomBuster.
When I'm not coding, I'm raising my two kids 👨👩👦👦 I'm also a home cook 👨🍳, specialty coffee enthusiast, and sourdough afficionado. I've considered changing careers to open a bakery more times than I'd like to admit.
What I do:
- 🎨 Build and maintain frontend apps with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- 🕸️ Design APIs with GraphQL (Apollo, Nexus) and REST (NestJS, Express)
- 📦 Work across SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases
- 👨🏫 Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and improve team processes
How I work:
I've driven product quality by catching silent production regressions, flagging compliance gaps before shipping, and improving QA and code review workflows. I regularly present technical work at company All-Hands and collaborate across teams to unblock shared dependencies and ship cross-surface features.
