Usage
/estimate-cost Write a GET /users API endpoint that returns all users from the database.
Bob will analyse the task complexity, measure your workspace, and return a structured cost report — including token breakdown, Bobcoin range, and cost-reduction tips — without starting the actual task.
Once you have your estimate, start a new task and paste your original prompt to begin the work.
What the skill does
- Classifies task complexity (Tiny → XL) and estimates the number of tool turns.
- Measures real workspace overhead and relevant file sizes using bundled Python scripts.
- Calculates total input + output tokens across all turns.
- Converts token totals to a Bobcoin range (±30% variance band).
- Outputs a full cost report and stops — it does not begin the task.
