Apexlog helps you find the right car for every race track. It provides a reference for drivers who want to pick the best vehicle for specific circuits. You can view suggestions for many types of motorsport scenarios. The software works as a browser-based tool on your computer. You do not need to connect to the internet once you install it.
Your computer must run Windows 10 or Windows 11. You need at least 200 MB of free storage space. The application uses a standard web browser engine to show information. You do not need a powerful graphics card or extra memory to run this tool. Keep your operating system updated for the best results.
Follow these steps to set up the application on your Windows machine:
- Visit the official releases page to find the latest version.
- Look for the file ending in .exe under the Assets section of the latest release.
- Click the file name to start the download.
- Save the file to your Downloads folder.
- Open your Downloads folder and double-click the file to start the installer.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to finish the installation.
- Click the Apexlog icon on your desktop to open the guide.
If Windows shows a protection window, click "More info" and then "Run anyway." This message appears because the application comes from a small developer. The code is safe to use.
The main screen displays a list of race tracks. Click on any track name to see details. The software shows a list of suggested cars for that specific circuit.
You can filter your search by car category or vehicle manufacturer. Use the search bar at the top of the window to find a specific track quickly. The sidebar menu allows you to switch between different racing series and motorsport standards.
You can change how the software looks in the Settings menu. Click the gear icon to adjust the theme. You can switch between light mode and dark mode to suit your preference. The app saves your choices automatically when you close the window.
If the application does not open, try the following steps:
- Delete the existing file and download a fresh copy from the link above.
- Restart your computer to clear any locked startup processes.
- Check if your antivirus software blocked the file. Add an exception for the installation folder if necessary.
- Ensure you have enough disk space on your drive.
- Right-click the desktop icon and select "Run as administrator" to grant proper access.
This project grows through user input. If you find incorrect data or have ideas for new tracks, open an issue on the repository page. Keep your suggestions specific to the track or car data. Describe the error clearly so developers can fix it. Do not report issues with your internet connection or third-party web browsers here.
