💡 What: Refactored
forceIndexUrlsinscripts/force-index.cjsto usePromise.allwith anArray.prototype.map()for concurrent API execution instead of a sequentialfor...ofloop. The try-catch blocks were preserved for each individual request.🎯 Why: To improve performance. The original code executed network requests sequentially, waiting for one to resolve before initiating the next. For purely I/O-bound operations like pushing URLs to an indexing API, executing these concurrently drastically reduces total execution time.
📊 Measured Improvement:
A benchmark was created simulating 50 sequential vs concurrent API calls, mocked to take 50ms each.
