Hi! @jains8844 showed me this project and I totally agree with the sentiment that SciPy is a huge dependency and that my project would do fine without 90 % of it.
However, to make this project more reliable, I wonder if you would be open to adding some really comprehensive tests that certify that the functions here behave exactly like the ones in SciPy, if not better?
Apart from bringing the relevant SciPy tests, we could use https://hypothesis.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ to generate some tests cases and make sure that everything is working, even with weird input like inf, nans and so forth.
