php-pecl-cassandra for PHP 8+

Would you be open to basing this RPM off of this fork of the extension? It appears to be better-maintained and supports building against PHP 8+ as well (the datastax repo does not).
I'm open to contributing the changes if that would help, though I'm not sure how to get a build environment running to test the changes.

They are a signal of the failure of a project
OK, they are also the way OpenSource work, and one of its powers.

1st, you should encourage the fork author to "try" to contribute its change to official extension
and if this fail, to discuss on the pecl mailing list, perhaps even to take official ownership of the extension.

BTW, before switching to any fork, I will check if I can pick the fix for PHP 8+

RPMs for PHP 8.0 and 8.1 (version 1.3.2-10 with all available patches) are now available in the repository

Thank you sir, this worked perfectly. I've run my app's Cassandra tests against 1.3.2-10 for PHP 8.1 with no issues.
