Add a Certificate to Keychain Access
Note: You only need to do this once for all browsers that needs a certificate added to Keychain Access.
In Launchpad open Keychain Access
In the Keychains section (upper left), make sure you have the login section selected.
1. In the *Category* section (bottom left), make sure you have the **Certificates** section selected.
1. Select the **File** menu's **Import Items**.
1. Select the `.crt` certificate file. Make sure the
destination is *login*.
1. Click the **Always Trust** button in the certificate validation window.
1. **Double-click** on the newly generated certificate (possibly named "localhost" for self-signed certificates).
1. Make sure that in the **Trust** section, both **Secure Socket Layer (SSL)** and **X.509 Basic Policy** are
set to **Always Trust**.
1. Restart Browser
