I build systems where AI agents do real work, not just answer questions. Right now that means orchestrating Claude Code with hooks, rules, retrieval systems, and autonomous tasks across Obsidian vaults, Notion, and 16+ data sources.
Open Arcana is the open-source framework I extracted from my production setup. It gives Claude Code the guardrails and automation it needs to actually manage a knowledge vault: anti-sycophancy rules, token efficiency, 18 slash commands, a 4-layer retrieval system, and 500+ automated health checks.
AI as infrastructure, not product. The interesting question isn't "what can AI do" but "what happens when AI agents run continuously in your workflow." I also think a lot about how technology intersects with power, labor, and political systems. Who benefits, who gets left out, and what we can do about it.
