Automated matching between online art auctions and archives of lost artworks.
This repository contains the files of the Lost and Found project created by Kitti Bauer and Rebeka Erdö for the Course "070172 UE Methodological course - Data Structures and Data Management in the Humanities (2023W)" at the University of Vienna and has the purpose to trace the artworks of four significant Hungarian collectors of the 20th century.
A catalogue of an absent archive: local-first registers of destroyed, looted, and dispersed works, with consent-aware evidence, sha-256 hashing, IIIF surviving copies, and a self-contained finding-aid export. Runs in the browser, no build.
Add a description, image, and links to the lost-art topic page so that developers can more easily learn about it.
