Most of these files just include changes from .format() to f-strings. I also misspoke; neither Python or PEP directly proposed removing or changing from .format() to f-strings. https://peps.python.org/pep-0498/
It is recommended, however, to remove the explicit index calls within the .format() call in favor of just positional arguments. https://docs.astral.sh/ruff/rules/format-literals/
It is also recommended to remove printf-strings to either .format() or f-strings. https://docs.astral.sh/ruff/rules/printf-string-formatting/
The docker container has also be updated for dev use. I couldn't find a consistent way to be able to test Python3.12-14 without notating 3 separate containers in the config. Seems like overkill. This version this only tests 3.14. It does work with the prior versions and those can be tested by just changing the container's Python version before building.
Also, the mariadb version has been bumped to mirror the production version.
