Build the shared foundations for accelerated computing.
The Working Group brings project maintainers and contributors together to advance UXL specifications, open-source libraries and shared infrastructure. Individual projects retain their own governance and technical direction.
UXL maintains a dynamic oneAPI specification. Each project's published documentation defines its current APIs and requirements.

The Project directory links to the six core libraries: oneDNN, oneDAL, oneMath, oneTBB, oneDPL and oneCCL, with a short description and documentation for each.
Meetings are quarterly, with additional sessions as needed. Use the Meeting calendar for dates and times and the Mailing list for invitations and discussion. Working Group members can access recordings through their openprofile account.
New participants are welcome to introduce their project or use case and suggest
topics through the mailing list or the wg-open-source channel on UXL Slack.
Pending discussion: oneMath domain-split decision brief. The twelve implementation tasks remain open pending a new Working Group decision.
- A shared task or question: check Open issues and discuss scope with the relevant maintainers before starting.
- A significant cross-project proposal: follow the RFC process.
- A library bug or feature: use that library's issue tracker in the Project directory.
- Meeting notes or documentation: use the templates and review guidance in Contribute.
This repository coordinates both specification and implementation work within the UXL Foundation. Current specification concepts are maintained on the UXL website, with APIs and requirements defined by each project's documentation. Proposals belong here or in the relevant project repository.
