- just 1 deck (switching decks is not instantaneous, you want to be able to trigger any clip)
- have spoutsenders (or syphon on osx) on layers 1.. however many layers you want (2)
syphon should be built into resolume on osx.
to install spout, download it from here and include it as a video plugin

- Output Port matches what is in sol's network config for osc port (default: 7001)

to use a pre-existing composition with sol, make sure all of your clips are on a single deck and the composition settings match the proper configuration. it's easier to start with the template and import every single clip you may want to use. then in sol file - load resolume comp, this will import all the clips into sol. once that's done you can hit file - generate thumbs in order to generate thumbnails.
if you want a light-weight composition using only the clips you have organized into clip collections file - export resolume comp
memepv is unreleased, it uses mpv to play videos and integrates with sol. if you'd like to help out get in touch.
mostly here just as an example of how easy it is to configure sol to use something you made yourself. isadora is a visual programming environment.
if you want to try it out select ISADORA under vj software on the video player config page and download the template.
Configure isadora to use the proper osc port and select file - add folder (isadora) from the sol menu to import the same folder of clips as used in isadora, everything should work out of the box for 2 layers.
