00:09:30 Latest installer version, the guide post and support
What it installs on Windows: the latest compatible NVIDIA WHQL driver for GeForce RTX 20-series and newer (checked on every run, never downgraded); Python 3.10 to 3.14 for all users, 3.12 as default; CUDA 12.9 and 13.2 side by side (13.2 default) and cuDNN 9.20, the only cuDNN registered, so PyTorch never mixes two versions; Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools (MSVC, Windows SDK) that keep compiling after Visual Studio updates, the latest Visual C++ runtime and CUDA integration; Git, Node.js 24, .NET 10 SDK for SwarmUI, FFmpeg 9 shared and static; PATH in the right order with your own entries kept, long paths, a 100 GB page file. Ready for torch.compile, Triton and flash-attention, sage-attention, xformers and insightface builds.
On Ubuntu the C++ tools are GCC, Clang, CMake and Ninja, plus Git LFS, uv, free-threaded Python 3.13t and 3.14t and a swap file. With an NVIDIA GPU it installs the newest driver Ubuntu offers and never downgrades it. Ubuntu's own python3 stays as it is.
Windows: put the zip in Downloads (not directly on C:), extract it, right-click Windows_AI_Requirements_Installer.bat and choose Run as administrator. Nothing has to be installed first. Ubuntu: open a terminal in the folder and run sudo bash ./Ubuntu_AI_Requirements_Installer.sh (24.04 recommended).
Afterwards the HTML report opens and logs.txt is saved next to the installer. Restart your PC and open a new terminal for the new PATH. You need this setup only once, not for every app. When the post shows a newer version, run the new one: finished parts are only checked, failed parts are repaired and components are updated, with backups first (--restore-env puts them back).
Tested for real: the tests compile and start C++ and CUDA programs, build Python and PyTorch-style CUDA extensions, compile GPU code for RTX 50 cards, encode a video and build a .NET app, in the environment a new terminal gets; the optional PyTorch GPU test runs with --torch-test. Supported: Windows 10 (21H2+) and 11; Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04 (desktop, server, cloud GPU, WSL2, Linux Mint, Zorin OS), 64-bit x86. Without an NVIDIA GPU everything still installs and compiling works; CUDA apps need an NVIDIA GPU.
This video is for anyone who wants to run AI apps locally without installing CUDA, Python and C++ tools by hand.

00:00:08 Greetings everyone. Today I am going to show you 1-click requirements installer
-
00:00:14 that I have developed in more than 1 week. These installers will work on Windows 10, Windows 11,
-
00:00:23 Ubuntu 22, Ubuntu 24, and Ubuntu 26. So today I will show you how to use these installers to
-
00:00:34 set up your PC and make it ready to run any AI application that you can think of, like ComfyUI,
-
00:00:42 SwarmUI, music generation tools, text-to-3D tools, text-to-speech tools, anything. Simply anything,
-
00:00:51 any AI application will run smoothly with the best performance. Moreover, this is not dependent on
-
00:00:59 your GPU, it will work with any GPU that you have. So as usual, the link will be in the description
-
00:01:05 below. Download the latest zip file, let's download the requirements installer zip file. Put
-
00:01:11 the zip file into Downloads folder. Do not use the C drive directly, and then extract it like this.
-
00:01:19 Then all you need to do is right-click and Run as administrator Windows AI Requirements
-
00:01:27 .bat file. None of my applications requires running as administrator except this one,
-
00:01:34 because this is going to set up everything that you need. The first thing the application does
-
00:01:40 is setting Windows long paths. The second thing it does is removing the Microsoft Store installed
-
00:01:48 Python to not have any issues. The third thing it does is installing the CUDA toolkits 12 and 13
-
00:01:56 and setting up everything automatically for you. Once the CUDA installation has been completed,
-
00:02:02 it will install the cuDNN. This is the version that Torch 2.13 is using. When we move to Torch
-
00:02:11 2.14, we will install that version. Then it installs Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools,
-
00:02:19 but with minimal necessary amount, so this will take much lesser space compared to our previous
-
00:02:26 strategy, previous tutorial. Then it will install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
-
00:02:32 This is also with minimal amount of necessary code to be able to compile and run everything,
-
00:02:37 like torch.compile and other stuff. Then it will make the CUDA Visual Studio integration properly.
-
00:02:43 Then it will install Python 3.10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, latest versions, they will be all set, the
-
00:02:52 default will be Python 3.12. So currently we are using Python 3.12 default. However, don't worry,
-
00:02:59 all of my new applications generates a virtual environment with the accurate Python version that
-
00:03:06 it is going to use. So you see it sets default Python as 3.12 here, then it installs the Git to
-
00:03:13 be able to clone and install repositories, then it installs Node.js 24. This is also necessary
-
00:03:21 for some applications like Ostris AI Toolkit to train models. Then it installs .NET SDK. This is
-
00:03:28 necessary for SwarmUI and some other applications in future possibly. It installs the latest FFmpeg,
-
00:03:35 both shared and static. Shared is used in some rare cases to be able to run,
-
00:03:42 compile some applications, and static is the main used FFmpeg in all applications. Then it sets all
-
00:03:49 the system and user PATH environment values fully automatically. It keeps your existing
-
00:03:54 values and just adds the new ones into accurate positions, then it enables Git long paths,
-
00:04:01 and it sets virtual memory. This is important, some people are missing this or forgetting this,
-
00:04:07 this is really important to set up. Then it clears your Triton cache, and it installs latest NVIDIA
-
00:04:13 driver if you have a NVIDIA GPU. Currently this system doesn't have it, so it didn't install.
-
00:04:19 Then it does run some tests, as you are seeing right now, to verify all the installations are
-
00:04:24 accurate. And in the end, it generates an HTML file that will show you all the results. So now
-
00:04:32 I'm opening it. So this is the Windows AI Requirements Installer results HTML file.
-
00:04:38 You will be able to see all the results of your all installations in this file. You can scroll
-
00:04:44 and see. It also shows the messages if there are any errors or not, so you can see all the results
-
00:04:51 here. And it also shows all the system paths that it did add or the user paths that it did add,
-
00:04:58 or the other paths it set ups. Everything is also backed up, so if an error occurs you can see your
-
00:05:05 older existing stuff as well. So read this HTML file to see everything that this application,
-
00:05:12 this installer does. The files are full secure because you can examine the content. For example,
-
00:05:18 let me open the installer Python file. You don't need to have Python installed to be able to run
-
00:05:25 this application, it is all automatically done. This is a very fresh computer, so let me open
-
00:05:31 with Notepad, and I will just drag and drop it to show you the content of this file. So
-
00:05:38 you can read the entire file, everything is fully transparent. Moreover, in the place that you run
-
00:05:44 the application, there will be logs, so you can see all the logs here as well. If any errors, you
-
00:05:50 can message me the logs, and the result HTML file will be also generated here if you want to open
-
00:05:56 it. So this is the Windows installation. After the installation, make sure to restart your computer
-
00:06:02 so everything will be fully set up and ready. Now I will show how to run Ubuntu installation. Okay,
-
00:06:09 so I got the files inside Ubuntu 24 machine. We support 22 and 26 as well. However, I recommend
-
00:06:19 you to use Ubuntu 24 at the moment. It is the most mature and most compatible Linux version right
-
00:06:28 now to run AI applications. So, in the files, open Run_Ubuntu_AI_Requirements_Installer.txt
-
00:06:35 file and copy this command, like this. Then open a terminal in here, in the same folder,
-
00:06:42 right-click and paste. It will ask your sudo password, so I will just enter my password,
-
00:06:48 hit Enter, and that's it. It will do fully automatic installation like it did in the
-
00:06:54 Windows requirements part, everything will be fully automatically installed, handled, set
-
00:06:59 up. You can run both Windows installer file and Linux installer file multiple times. It is made
-
00:07:07 like that, so whenever there is a newer update in the files, just run it again and it should fix and
-
00:07:13 upgrade all the installation automatically for you for both Windows and Linux installation. As you
-
00:07:18 can see, Linux is also installing same files but with Linux version. So you see compilers, build
-
00:07:26 tools, GCC, Clang, CMake, Ninja, and all other stuff, everything is automatically installed,
-
00:07:32 and you will be able to use all of my applications with Massed Compute installers, so that you won't
-
00:07:39 have any issues with any of my AI applications or any AI applications that you install from anywhere
-
00:07:45 else. So the Linux setup also completed. It took only 13 minutes to complete everything. Depending
-
00:07:52 on your internet speed and the disk speed, it can be much faster or slower. Again, we got a
-
00:07:58 full report that shows everything that has been installed, if there are any errors or not. You
-
00:08:04 can see everything, just scroll down slowly, check out the warnings and check out the OK messages. If
-
00:08:12 there are any errors, you will see full details exist in this report. If you get any errors,
-
00:08:18 unexpected errors, you can of course message me the log file, you see the logs.txt file,
-
00:08:25 and I can hopefully fix it as soon as possible. You shouldn't get, because I literally spent
-
00:08:31 over 1 week to build this script. Therefore, it is extremely robust, advanced, it covers so many edge
-
00:08:40 cases, so it should be just fine. As I have shown in Windows tutorial part, everything is fully
-
00:08:46 transparent. You can just open the files and look at the content, so everything is transparent as I
-
00:08:53 mentioned. After you have done this setup, you will be able to use all of the AI applications
-
00:08:59 that I develop or other people develops, because this literally installs everything necessary,
-
00:09:06 and this is result of years of experience. I have been working in generative AI since 2022,
-
00:09:13 so I have accumulated some experience, and you should be just fine after doing this setup.
-
00:09:20 The requirement setup is only just 1 time necessary until we change something. So you don't
-
00:09:25 need to run this every time that you are going to install a new application or anything. When you
-
00:09:30 check out the post, that you will see the last update date, the last zip file. So in the post,
-
00:09:37 when you are watching this video, you will see the version of the installer, and whenever something
-
00:09:42 new is necessary, I will update this zip file. You can also read this post and read all the
-
00:09:48 information here. It will be very useful for you to read and learn what is we are installing,
-
00:09:54 why we need them. So, check out this post as well. If you have any questions, always message me from
-
00:10:01 Discord, Patreon, or leave a YouTube comment, and hopefully see you in next tutorial video.
